Bio

Mr. Calderón is a Partner at Cuntur Capital, where he primarily advises corporates on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and on equity and debt fundraising across public and private, domestic and international markets. Additionally, he is involved in activities within Cuntur Capital’s Private Funds Group.

Prior to joining Cuntur Capital, Mr. Calderón served as Head of Investment Banking at GBM; prior to GBM, he was Managing Director and Head of Commercial Banking at J.P. Morgan in Mexico. He previously was Managing Director in the Investment Banking group at Barclays Mexico. Earlier, Mr. Calderon worked at Rothschild & Sons and started his career at American Express Bank in New York.

Mr. Calderón holds a BA in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
